College Sports

The sports stars of tomorrow need somewhere to hone their skills before making the leap to the professional stage, and for most that place is on college campuses across the U.S. ESPN presents a first-class selection of college sports sanctioned by the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association), the governing body for all sports at the college level.

Leading the lineup is NCAA football and basketball (see the American Football and Basketball pages for information) and the elite NCAA College World Series for the best baseball teams in the country. Also available is regular season coverage of baseball and women's softball; championship games in ice hockey, tennis, sailing and volleyball; women's gymnastics, lacrosse, the Stihl Timbersports College Challenge and much more.
