Euroleague Basketball 2008-2009

Considered the European Champions League of Basketball, Euroleague Basketball delivers a season of high-quality, non-stop hoops action starring the 24 biggest clubs from Greece, Spain, Italy, Russia, Israel and beyond.

Last season was electric as Russia's CSKA Moscow thrillingly fought back to reclaim their 2006 Champion title.  Other top teams include Israel's Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv, back-to-back champions in 2004 and 2005, Greek legends Panathanaikos and Spain's Tau Ceramica, Real Madrid and Unicaja.

The regular season runs October to January, followed by the Top 16, the Quarterfinals and the crowning of a new Euroleague Champion at the Final Four, being held in May 2009 in Berlin, Germany.
