National Football League (NFL) 2008-2009
Action-packed from start to finish, the NFL brings the
excitement of American football to legions of fans around the
globe. Strategy, strength and skill come together in a short,
intense season that is as entertaining as it is unpredictable.
The 32 teams play a 16-game season followed by the Wild Card
and Divisional Playoffs, the Conference Championships and Super
Bowl XLIII from Tampa, Florida. The season officially closes
February 8
th with the all-star AFC-NFC Pro Bowl in Honolulu,
Hawaii.
A highlight for international viewers-and European
spectators--will come on October 26th when the San Diego Chargers
play the New Orleans Saints at London's legendary (and recently
rebuilt) Wembley Stadium.
