Winter X Games 13

Deep powder beckoned as Buttermilk Mountain in glamorous Aspen, Colorado, once again provided the backdrop for winter's hottest action sports event.  For four days in January, Snowboard, Ski and Snowmobile - the cornerstones of winter sports worldwide - ruled the slopes.

With upwards of 75,000 fans in attendance, 2009's event was among the best yet with superstar Shaun White the event's undeniable star.  On the final night of competition, White (known as the Flying Tomato) competed against fellow rider Kevin Pearce for the gold.  It came down to the last run where White proved again why he is the greatest snowboarder in Winter X Games history.
