World Series of Poker
As the world's premier poker tournament the World Series of Poker (WSOP) is the place where aspiring amateurs take on world-class pros for the heftiest purse in the game.
Winning the WSOP remains the peak achievement in any poker
player's career. From Texas Hold'em Limit, Omaha Pot Limit and
7-Card-Stud Hi/Lo to Razz and Lowball, a series of 55 events
culminates with the No Limit Hold'em Main Event and one card shark
going home with millions in winnings and the title of World
Champion.
With eleven straight days of knock-out competition during
July followed by a series of winner-take-all finals in November,
ESPN provides all the event coverage.
