ESPN and Canal+ Events are proud to present winter sports debut event in France as the prestigious Tignes Ski and Snowboard resort plays host to Europe's first-ever Winter X Games.

It's not so often that ESPN stages such an event outside the U.S., but this exciting brand new venture is set to deliver the same top-flight talent and competition as its counterpart, while demonstrating the growth of the X Games franchise and the progression of action sports in Europe.

Reaching dizzy heights of 3,500 meters, Tignes will become the new playground for the world's top winter action sports athletes who will be invited to compete for medals and prize money across eight different competitions over three days, including Ski and Snowboard, Superpipe and Slopestyle.
